According to the latest teaser, the Huawei Mate 20 is set to deliver the latest 7nm Kirin processor, and game more AI features. The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Guru are put to start simultaneously, and also the premium variant is largely expected to rock a double camera camera lens at the back. Maybe the biggest confirmation on the new teaser is that the Huawei Mate 20 series will sport the new Kirin 980 system on chip, first launched at IFA 2018 as well. When compared with the previous generation 10nm process, the 7nm procedure delivers 20 percent enhanced SoC functionality and 40 percent greater efficiency, stated Huawei.
What’s more, the teaser claims the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Guru are expected to have AI characteristics in the camera in addition to the overall UI. The teaser comes with the slogan”A high Intelligence is arriving”, where the AI abbreviation is emphasized.
Apart from this, the invitation teaser reiterates the event will be held in London on October 16. A recent report suggested the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro both are going to have screen notch design and operate Android Pie-based EMUI 9.0 out-of-the-box. Though the Huawei Mate 20 Guru is rumoured to have an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Mate 20 is likely to include a conventional fingerprint detector. The Mate 20 is reported to have a 4,200mAh battery which is larger in power within the 4,000mAh battery on the Huawei P20 Pro. The handset could also have a glass back structure to support charging. In contrast, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro could include a double camera camera setup, like the P20 Pro.
As previously mentioned, Huawei already introduced the Mate 20 Lite since the first model from the lineup to expand its portfolio. The Mate 20 Lite does not have the top-end SoC and the most recent Android experience. It instead comes with all the Kirin 710 SoC and runs EMUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
