The Yu Ace budget smartphone will go on sale for the first time in India today.
The very first Yu-branded smartphone in a calendar year, the brand new Micromax smartphone has been launched last week and will be only accessible via Flipkart. Buyers can head into the e-commerce platform in 12pm for a opportunity to get their hands on the Yu Ace. The flash sale now will be followed by an open sale from September 13, so buyers will need to be quick in adding the handset for their cart once the sale starts unless they would like to wait a week. One of the key highlights of this newest Yu Ace smartphone are the HD+ 18:9 screen, 4,000mAh battery, Face Unlock functionality, and the firm’s Steroid Launcher.
Yu price in India, specifications
The Yu Ace price in India is set as Rs. 5,999 for its 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variation, which makes it a competitor to the popular Xiaomi Redmi 5A that prices exactly the same. A 3GB RAM and 32GB storage alternative will be launch after this month. Of course, buyers also have the brand new Redmi 6A to select from, with small upgrades over the past year’s version. Coming back to the new Micromax phone, it will be available in three colour options — Charcoal Grey, Elektric Blue, and Rose Gold.
Now moving on to the specifications, the dual-SIM and dual-VoLTE Yu Ace smartphone operates stock Android 8.1 Oreo together with the organization’s Steroid Launcher on top. It matches a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display using a 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC combined with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with flash, along with a 5-megapixel front camera. It comes with the standard set of connectivity choices, and is powered with a 4,000mAh battery.
