Separately, OnePlus India aired the first TV ad for the smartphone featuring brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan, that alluded to one of the highlighting characteristics of this smartphone. There’s also the’Notify Me’ button that enables users to register to receive notifications regarding the smartphone on their linked email ID. Lastly, a report by reputed tipster Roland Quandt of all WinFuture asserts that OnePlus is sticking into a double camera setup because of its next flagship of this year. This contradicts the previous reports that stated OnePlus 6T will feature a triple camera set up on the trunk. A render image shared in the story indicates the smartphone in Mirror Black finish. Additionally, compared to the current flagship, the OnePlus 6T won’t have a fingerprint sensor to the trunk. It is also claimed the internals will be rearranged using the new model, with the noise-cancelling mic moved from the right border to the left and also the Power button is also being moved downwards. The report also states that the new smartphone will be a little bigger in size compared to the present model and may feature a 6.41-inch screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340×1080-pixel resolution.
The smartphone is expected to be a little update over this season’s OnePlus 6, with a new characteristics to make it a competitive choice against the likes of new iPhone XS versions, iPhone XR, and Samsung Galaxy Notice 9, among other premium smartphones. Earlier escapes have claimed the OnePlus 6T smartphone will have a waterdrop display notch, 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB internal storage options, and a larger battery than previously.
