WhatsApp for Android has brought the Expected Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature for all users.
It essentially enables you to watch Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube videos in a little window and keep to scroll through WhatsApp chats concurrently. Though the newest update has brought a dedicated PiP feature for most users that are Android, WhatsApp for iPhone was offering an identical experience since January this year.
To utilize the Picture-in-Picture feature on the most recent WhatsApp for Android, you can now watch Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube videos in a little window and continue to navigate around WhatsApp in different chats concurrently. The attribute works in person chats in addition to group chats.
It works just using a link of any Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube videos. Once you tap that connection, the video plays in a small, dedicated window that sits along with your WhatsApp chats. This means that you may continue to communicate either with individuals or the associates of a WhatsApp group together with watching the available Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube video.
It’s worth noting here that although the brand new attribute plays Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube videos in a separate window on WhatsApp, it does not work with the movie clips shared natively on the instant messaging program. Similar is the case with videos being shared from other platforms.
As we mentioned, WhatsApp was spotted testing the Picture-in-Picture feature on Android in October. The Facebook-owned firm brought the feature originally for iOS consumers back in January.
