The new attributes are expected to be part of the present MIUI 10, though some of them are intended for its next-generation, MIUI 11. The Chinese giant is set to deliver features like a system-wide Dark mode, improved Dolby impacts, ability to lock an app using face or fingerprint locking system, and also the option to adjust the font and screen sizes individually. In addition, it includes plans to include improvements such as the deletion of the APK file after installing the app and a committed kid mode.
Among other features, the updated article on MIUI forums shows that Xiaomi is place to bring features like the enhanced Dolby effects, system-wide dim mode, battery charging status on the information screen, along with the capability to wake up the screen using voice commands. The post confirms that the development of the new features has been finished. Thus, it’s safe to anticipate that these offerings will be a part of an MIUI 10 upgrade in the coming future.
Notably, some of the listed features are already a part of this MIUI 10 ROM for Chinese users. It is, therefore, easy for the company to deploy them for global users through an upgrade.
Alongside the characteristics that are being developed, the post on the MIUI forums cites that there are several features which are one of the future plans. Some of them contain the choice to manually delete the installation package (APK document ) after installing the app, support for cropping pictures in 18:9 aspect ratio, kid mode, stereo Bluetooth support for matches, along with the capability to refresh the unlock screen.
Users would also get the choice to exhibit emergency contacts on the lock screen, a driving mode with support for QQ message broadcast and voice broadcast, and a shortcut to raise the brightness of the display. What’s more, Xiaomi has recorded features like a recycle bin for both photographs and an optimized program consent management.
GizChina initially reported the upgraded MIUI forum article detailing the upcoming features. A number of these features are likely to be part of MIUI 11.
To remember, Xiaomi launched MIUI 10 as its new customized ROM for a list of Mi- and Redmi-series models back in June last year. It is, therefore, likely that the new variant may arrive at the coming months.
